Kyowa Kirin

Adenosine Inhibitor MOA

Share

In your brain are two “pathways” used to send dopamine and adenosine where they are needed. In Parkinson’s disease, the indirect pathway is overstimulated with adenosine, resulting in the familiar shaking of the sufferer’s muscles. Nourianz is an adenosine blocker that prevents overstimulation from adenosine and helps return normal movement.

We worked with agency Pixacore to create this short informational MOA video intended to explain the drug to doctors, helping them choose the best choice of treatment.
